What is Yoga Therapy?
Yoga Therapy is a person-centered, integrative mind-body approach to therapy or healthcare. It looks at the entire person and works with the body, breath and mind to restore balance in the physiological systems of the body, and help you find more peace and harmony within yourself.
Yoga therapy weaves together modern science (biomedicine and neuroscience), psychology and trauma sensitive training, with ancient yoga wisdom and perspectives to provide a unique and holistic, person-centered therapy.
Yoga therapy utilises gentle movement, breath work, mindfulness, self-enquiry, relaxation, and other evidence-based practices to empower you towards integration in your mind, body and life.
Kelly Jarvis specialises in supporting individuals experiencing grief , Eating disorders, Bereavement, anxiety and self Harm.
Private sessions can either be in person in Brighton or over Zoom.
It is recommended that you book an 80 minute slot for your first session to allow for an in-depth consultation.
Generally a minimum of six yoga therapy sessions are recommended for an individual to see results.
