What is Somatic Therapy?

Somatic Therapy is a person-centered, integrative mind-body approach to therapy or healthcare. It looks at the entire person and works with the body, breath and mind to restore balance in the physiological systems of the body, and help you find more peace and harmony within yourself.

The form of therapy I offer weaves together modern science (biomedicine and neuroscience), psychology and trauma sensitive training, with ancient yoga wisdom and perspectives to provide a unique and holistic, person-centered therapy. 

The therapy sessions I share utilises gentle movement, breath work, mindfulness, self-enquiry, relaxation, and other evidence-based practices to empower you towards integration in your mind, body and life.

I specialise in supporting individuals experiencing grief , Eating disorders, Bereavement, anxiety and self Harm.

Private sessions are online.

It is recommended that you book an 80 minute slot for your first session to allow for an in-depth consultation. 

Generally a minimum of six yoga therapy sessions are recommended for an individual to see results.

The Healing Path Programme is an online, personalized, and transformative journey designed by Kelly Jarvis to help individuals navigate through life’s challenges, mental health struggles, and stresses.

Over the course of four one-on-one online sessions, we’ll work together to explore the root causes of what’s making you feel stuck—whether it’s related to mental health, life stress, or a sense of disempowerment. You’ll gain clarity and insight, while learning powerful tools that will help you move through these challenges with confidence and ease.

Six One-on-One Online Sessions: These sessions are held virtually, so you can participate from anywhere in the world. Each session will be scheduled at a time that works for you, and we’ll work together to address your specific challenges, ensuring a personalized approach to your healing.

Holistic Approach: We’ll integrate a variety of powerful tools to support your transformation, including:

Yoga Gentle practices designed to connect your body and mind, helping to release tension, restore balance, and open up space for healing and growth.

Breathwork & Pranayama. Learn breathing techniques that help regulate your nervous system, reduce stress, and cultivate a deeper sense of presence.

Yoga Philosophy: We’ll explore how ancient wisdom can be applied to your modern life, offering you valuable tools to empower yourself and take meaningful action.

Empowerment and Action: With each session, you’ll gain clarity and practical tools that will allow you to feel more grounded and empowered to take action in your life. Whether you're dealing with mental health struggles or simply feel overwhelmed, the goal is for you to feel more confident and equipped to navigate life’s challenges.

Additional Programme Details:

- Course Duration: The Healing Path Programme must be completed within one year of purchase, ensuring that you have plenty of time to work through the material at your own pace. However, it is recommended that you aim to complete the course within three months to experience the full benefits of the healing process in a condensed time frame.
